Service Description
There is something quietly sacred about a recipe that has been cooked, shared, and remembered. In this three-week watercolour class we will learn to draw and paint food — the ingredients, the finished dish, the little notes in the margin — and turn a beloved recipe into a piece of art. Bring the recipe that means something to you: a family favourite, a holiday staple, the one you make when someone needs comfort. We’ll honour it on the page. You might create a beautiful piece of wall art for your kitchen… or a gift for a friend, ready to give alongside the ingredients so they can make it themselves. Perfect for beginners and anyone wanting to loosen up with expressive, playful techniques. You’ll learn to capture the glow of fruit, the steam of a bowl, the texture of bread, herbs, and spice using watercolour’s transparency, wet-on-wet washes, and happy accidents. Dates: Wednesday, November 25, December 2 & 9 Time: 6–8 PM Where: Art Studio, 204–37776 2nd Avenue, Squamish, BC
